What is Church Center:
Church Center is an app that is part of the Planning Center line of products. It brings together a wide array of features and information all into one spot. Church Center allows ministries and small groups a place to schedule events, and chat with each other. It allows for a digital church directory, and a digital calendar of events for the church. It allows you to check your kids into Kingdom Kids before you even get to church. It even allows you to watch live or archived sermons right from the app.
How do I find what I am looking for:
The navigation bar (at the bottom of the screen if on the mobile version, and the top of the screen if on the website version) holds the key to getting around:
In the Calendar tab, you will find all of the events that have been published to the church calendar. (Note: this does not include events that may be specific to a ministry or small group that are not public events; those are found within the groups tab.
In the Groups tab, you will find any small groups or ministries that you are a part of that are using Church Center. You can also browse and open or public groups that you might be interested in joining. If you are a small group or ministry leader interested in getting your group on Church Center, talk to the church office. Within each group you can chat with other members, see ministry or small group events, and see any documents or materials that your group leader may have uploaded.
In the Directory tab, you will find contact and household information for anyone who has elected to share their information in the directory. If you do not have access to the directory, contact the church office. You can change what information, if any, you share in the directory by using the "Me" tab.
In the Check-In tab, you will be able to check in children to Kingdom Kids. Check-ins becomes available at 6am on Sunday Mornings. You can always check them in in-person, but it is helpful to check them in via the app if you are running late for church. This allows our Kingdom Kids teachers to know your kiddos are coming.
In the sermons tab, you will find an archive of sermons. You can also watch the Saturday Converge Service and the Sunday Morning Worship Celebration service live, and chat with others watching.
The Me tab is the only one not located in the navigation bar, It is found in the upper right hand corner of the screen and its icon is a person. In the Me tab, you will find everything about you. From this tab you can decide what information about you and your household gets shared in the directory, you can see any ministry roles you have been assigned to from the Services app, and any events that you have added to your calendar.
